Most common text in the game?
i think it would have to be
Shatter Enchantment -XX floating over your head. seriously.... maybe i missed something, but is it really neccesary to have mobs in half the zones in the damn game that can use your own enchantments against you as a weapon? i see the need for them in pvp, and i can see areas like the mesmer section of dragons lair having plentiful enchantment removal.... but seriously, why are there so damn many mobs that remove enchantments? my personal favorite are the damn jade scarabs..... god i hate those things, they appear out of nowhere, dot you, remove all your enchantments then life drain you. they arent much of a threat, just irritating. dont mind my rant, just needed to vent. i like to have fun when im pve'ing, just relax a bit and soak in some storyline and such... constantly recasting the same basic enchantments, or else suffering twice the downtime cause i dont have them up, simply isnt fun to me i guess. not a game breaking thing, not even a challenge.... just irritating. i like a challenge, i dont like irritations. |

There's one particular spot in the Crystal Desert that's positively lousy with Wind Riders, near the Wind Rider boss with the weird name you have to kill for the...I dunno... ele sub quest? Eh.
That's the worst long-ass fight I've ever been through. Couldn't cast a single spell, couldn't physically attack, just had to stand by while they killed all my minions and then me too. Bah! -sam |

Yeah that's the area I am talking about. You go through it on the "Mysterious Message" quest when you have to stick a message in a hollowed out log. Two large sets of wind riders come at you from both sides; it's ridiculous.

There's an area somewhere between Elona Reach and Seeker's Passage that's full of maybe 20 independant groups of 4-5 Wind Riders each, just randomly caroming about this little valley-type area at incredibly high speed. It's impossible to miss them and you get into a huge long engagement with a clusterf*ck of them interrupting everything you do with Cry of Frustration, Clumsiness, you name it. -sam |
